Coffee Hours are biweekly meetings open to all students to discuss topics in national security, led by Clements Center Graduate or Undergraduate Fellows. Previous topics have included North Korea’s nuclear program, Boko Haram, the refugee crisis, and civil-military relations. During this lively discussion hour, students engage with each other, debate ideas, and learn more about diverse topics in foreign policy. Please refer to our Rules of Engagements here.
In response to growing concerns over COVID-19 (coronavirus) and in accordance with the University of Texas' decision to suspend select campus activities and domestic travel through April, the Clements Center is cancelling coffee hours for the remainder of Spring 2020. We look forward to reconvening in the fall!
