Historians from around the country gathered at UT-Austin on Friday, November 18th, to discuss major trends in U.S. policymaking in the mid-1970s.
Leading figures from the executive branch, the intelligence community and academia joined the Herzstein Texas National Security Forum at the University of Texas at Austin to discuss the national security issues facing the next President and the impact of Presidential transitions on the nation's security.

Professor Slick talked with the International Spy Museum's historian Vince Houghton about how he began working at the CIA, his 28 years of service, and his current work leading the Intelligence Studies Project.
