U.S. Senator Marco Rubio Addressed Packed Auditorium at the University of Texas

Apr 16, 2014

Distinguished guests, UT students, and members of the public heard the Senator touch on many foreign policy topics including the current situation in Ukraine, the crisis in Syria, and the escalation of Iran’s nuclear program. As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Senator has a unique vantage point on our national security and stated that the leaks by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden are “the single most damaging revelation of American secrets in our history.”

After the Q&A, Professor Inboden joked with the Senator that at the University of Texas we are serious about many things, but mostly about football. Afterwards, he presented the Senator with a personalized UT football jersey.
