Madison Lockett is a sophomore studying International Relations and Math, with a certificate in computer science. She is focusing her studies on international security, with a particular interest in the intersection of cyber capabilities and advancements with traditional diplomacy, warfare, and security. This past summer Madison studied abroad in Santander, Spain for a language immersion program, and she plans to attend the Clements Center Maymester in London focusing on the Special relationship between the U.S. and U.K. this year. She became interested in National Security after presenting a high school senior thesis arguing for the need of intelligence to effectively combat terrorism. After graduation, she hopes to work as a public servant in intelligence, defense, or diplomacy.
Madison loved attending all of the Clements Center events last year, and is excited for the opportunity to engage with professionals in the field and learn more as the year goes on.
