Scott Wolford (Ph.D., Emory University, 2008 and B.A., Transylvania University, 2002) is (as of January 2020) the Editor of Conflict Management and Peace Science. His first book, The Politics of Military Coalitions (2015), and his textbook, The Politics of the First World War: A Course in Game Theory and International Security (2019) are both published by Cambridge University Press. He has published articles in the American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Theoretical Politics, Journal of Conflict Resolution, and others. His work focuses on the role of leadership change and military coalitions in international conflict, international institutions, and the stability of peace settlements.
