Alexandra Foggett is the Program Manager at the Clements Center for National Security. Prior to joining the Clements Center, Alexandra worked as a Research Manager at Gerson Lehrman Group in Austin, Texas. Before moving to Austin, she worked in the oil & gas industry in Australia for several years working on Chevron’s Wheatstone project in the north-west shelf of Western Australia. Other experience includes her time as a Research Intern at the Hudson Institute and a Contributing Editor for Mexico with Southern Pulse, a strategic advisory firm focusing on Latin America. Her academic background and research interests include Latin America, democracy, security and political violence. She graduated in 2011 with an MSc from the University of Oxford in Latin American Politics and also completed her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Politics from the University of York in England.
